Sergii koziakov delivers speech at the Legal Forum “Development of the Legal Services Market in Ukraine – 2014”

Managing Partner Sergii Koziakov made presentation ??”How International Law Changed the Legal Practice of the Country. Evolution of 1987-2014 years” during the Tenth Annual Legal Forum “Development of the Legal Services Market in Ukraine – 2014”.

In his speech Sergii Koziakov highlighted the evolution of private law practice in the Soviet Union during the “restructuring time” and in the independent Ukraine due to the influence of international law. Sergey Koziakov also emphasized the outstanding role of the Ukrainian academic school of International Law and the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kiev in employees preparation for a private law practice.

Besides, Sergii Koziakov has focused on the features of legal practice within the last months, taking into account the occupation by the Russian Federation of the Ukrainian territory – the Crimean Peninsula. In particular, he drew attention to the actual destruction of such profession as a judge, lawyer, notary and auditor in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
