The Interdepartmental Commission on International Trade on October 11 canceled its decision of April 23 to introduce a safeguard duty of 23.5% on imported wires, regardless of the country of origin and export.
The commission found that national interests do not require safeguard measures, that was repeatedly stated by lawyers of Sergii Koziakov and Partners during the investigation while representing interests of Belarusian manufacturer and exporter Soyuz-Cable.
Revision of the April decision was launched on September 23 under initiative of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and ended with the complete abolition of special duties.
