Olesia Kryvetska is a Senior Associate with Sergii Koziakov & Partners. She advises national and foreign business on legal matters in the area of WTO law, trade remedies, preferential trade regimes, tariff and non-tariff barriers to trade as well as competition law.
Mrs. Kryvetska is recognized as National expert in the area of Trade & Customs by Getting the Deal Through and as an expert in international trade by Corporate LiveWire’s.
Mrs. Kryvetska is an experienced moot court participant and coach. Back in 2013, she received the Best Speaker Award at the European regional round of the ELSA Moot Court Competition on WTO Law (EMC2). In 2014 – 2018, Mrs. Kryvetska was coaching the EMC2 team of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. She also served as academic advisor to and panelist at the National Moot Court Competition on WTO Law co-organized by ELSA Ukraine and Sergii Koziakov & Partners in May 2018.
Mrs. Kryvetska also is doing a PhD research on international investment arbitration.
In 2017-18, Mrs. Kryvetska has been engaged in the working group on improvement of the Ukrainian laws on trade defense instruments. Mrs. Kryvetska was a member of the expert group on development of Ukraine’s export strategy 2016-2020 and the Action Plan thereto (October-December 2015). Olesia is admitted to the Ukrainian Bar Association and Olesia is a member of the Export-and-Import Committee, Chinese Commerce Association (Ukraine).
Education: Mrs. Kryvetska holds an LL.M degree from IELPO Programme, University of Barcelona (Spain), one of the Europe’s top master programs in international economic law and policy. Mrs. Kryvetska also graduated cum laude with a master degree in International Law from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Institute of International Relations (Ukraine),
