Managing partner of “Sergii Koziakov and Partners” Mykola Podpalov shared his opinion with internet portal “Energetic of Ukraine” on investigation of electricity and power coal markets, conducted by scientists of the Kiev National Technical and Economical University

In the beginning of June 2015 the AMCU started a comprehensive investigation of electricity and power coal markets. The AMCU came down to the conclusion that there is evidence showing a collective monopoly of National Nuclear Energy Generating Company “Energoatom”, LLC “DTEK,” and PJSC “Ukrhydroenergo”. In February 2016 Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics presented a scientific and research work with the topic “Analysis of competition and market power in the electricity market of Ukraine”, which contradicted to the outcome of the AMCU investigation.
