ON IMPORTANCE OF NATIONAL EXPORTERS’ PARTICIPATION IN ANTIDUMPING INVESTIGATIONS ABROAD

Ukrainian exporters often refuse to participate in antidumping investigations abroad. However, such refusal may actually close markets of respective countries for them. Refusal of national exporters to take part in such investigations as interested parties, leads to antidumping margin calculation with considering only arguments of national producers of the investigating country, and in some countries even arise out of analysis of Ukrainian economic as non-market economy. That may lead to the imposition of unreasonably high rate of anti-dumping duties on goods originating in Ukraine.
