2016 Korea – Ukraine Economic Cooperation Forum

Partners of “Sergii Koziakov & Partners” Andriy Karnaukhov and Nataliia Isakhanova took part at the 2016 Korea – Ukraine Economic Cooperation Forum.

The Republic of Korea and Ukraine have strong potential for further cooperation.

His Excellency Lee Yang Goo, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in Ukraine, during his speech noted: “Ukraine can develop Odessa, taking Korea’s “Songdo City Project” as a basis model. Odessa could become the second Rotterdam and rise as Europe’s logistics center.” He assumed that Korea’s “Pangyo Techno Valley” model could be applied to Kharkiv, which could become the second Silicon Valley. Lviv could be developed as a cluster including tourism, medical and agricultural industries. The Ambassador noted that Ukraine could use experiences of Korea’s four river development project, aimed at efficient water resources management and tourism improvement.
